Closed Beta Privacy Notice
Effective August 24, 2026
1. Who we are
RecallText Limited Liability Company makes CommLocker™. This notice explains how we handle information connected with the closed beta website, applications, waitlists, support, and beta participation.
2. Information we collect
- Application and waitlist information: name, email address, role, industry, phone platform and model, application or waitlist answers, consent record, and application or waitlist status.
- Support and feedback: messages, bug reports, screenshots, diagnostics, and other information you voluntarily send us.
- Basic website and security data: information that our hosting and security providers may process, such as IP address, browser or device type, timestamps, and request logs.
- App permissions and content: the Android beta may request permissions needed for features you choose to use. Communication content selected within the app is designed to remain on your device or in storage you control unless you choose to export or send it.
3. How we use information
- Review and administer closed-beta applications.
- Issue and manage email-linked access codes.
- Provide support, communicate about the beta, and investigate problems.
- Improve product reliability, usability, privacy, and security.
- Prevent misuse and comply with legal obligations.
4. When information may be disclosed
We may disclose limited information to service providers that help host, secure, support, or operate the beta; when required by law or valid legal process; to protect rights, safety, and security; or as part of a business transaction where permitted by law. We do not sell personal information or use beta application information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Retention
We retain beta application, access, support, and feedback information only as long as reasonably necessary for the beta, product development, security, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Retention may vary depending on the type of information and why it was collected.
6. Your choices and California rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you submitted to us by emailing lauren@commlocker.io. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when permitted or required by law. California residents may also have rights under applicable California privacy laws. We will not discriminate against you for making a valid privacy request.
7. Cookies and browser signals
This closed-beta site does not use advertising cookies. Essential hosting, security, and form functionality may use technical storage or request data. Because we do not use the site for behavioral advertising, changing a browser “Do Not Track” signal does not alter how the site operates.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No website, device, transmission, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Beta testers should avoid sending private client communications in support messages unless specifically requested and authorized.
9. Children
The beta is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect beta applications from children.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this notice as the beta and product evolve. Material changes will be posted here and, when appropriate, communicated to active testers. Questions or requests may be sent to lauren@commlocker.io.
